Evidence: Plasmids containing ADH3-cat were transfected into HepG2 cells either alone or with expression plasmids for C/EBP-alpha, LAP, DBP, or HNF-1. ADH3 promoter responded quite well to DBP, a very significant synergistic effect for the ADH3 promoter was observed when cells were co-transfected with C/EBP-alpha and LAP expression vectors.
